Hi I'm Amanda, and my mission is to help beginning entrepreneurs build and use their own self-hosted WordPress website, cheaply & independently. Here's a story for you....
About one year ago I decided to transfer my Blogger site to WordPress, it was nightmare-ish. I did not want to shell out thousands of dollars to have someone design a site for me. My husband would never, in a million years, agree to spending that amount of money on a website. I had no clue how WordPress worked or how to transfer my content, I just knew I had to do it. I spent $200 instead of $1,000 to have someone transfer my content from Blogger to WordPress. Once I finally made it to WP...I hadn't a clue.
I was on my own and that is a scary place to be when one little move can break your website or make it look like puke.
I spent hours and hours watching YouTube videos to learn how to navigate, customize and use WordPress. I read many articles and took courses too.
Eventually after a huge amount of work, a steep learning curve and lots of online training I became the confident WordPress user I am today.
WordPress has so much to offer online entrepreneurs but acquiring the knowledge to utilize this incredible business tool can be stressful, expensive and downright hard! I want to help people who find themselves in these or similar predicaments.
I want to build the bridge between YOU and WordPress.
